Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

We are committed to providing our visitors with a web site that respects their privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Information collected automatically. When you visit this site we collect limited technical information about the visit, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address and basic details about how the site was used. This happens through Google Analytics, described below, and through our own server, which briefly records the IP addresses that submit our forms so that automated abuse can be blocked. Those records are discarded within an hour. We make no attempt to link this information to the identity of individual visitors.

Information you give us. We only receive your name, e-mail address, phone number or message if you choose to send it:

  • Our contact form sends your message by e-mail to the department you selected. It is not stored on this website.
  • Our newsletter is managed by Mailchimp, a service based in the United States. When you sign up, your e-mail address is passed to Mailchimp and you are sent a confirmation e-mail. You are not subscribed unless you click the link in that e-mail. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We use this information only for the purpose you provided it. It is not sold, and it is not disclosed to anyone outside the club except the service providers named in this policy, or where we are required to do so by law.

Your rights. Personal information we hold is protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada's federal privacy law for private-sector organizations. You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to withdraw your consent to our use of it. Contact us and we will respond.

Cookies. This site uses a first-party cookie that remembers whether you've dismissed or signed up for our newsletter prompt, so it isn't shown to you repeatedly. That cookie stores no personal information. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure how the site is used, as described below. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will still work normally.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how our site is used, for example which pages are visited and whether visitors are on a phone or a computer. Google Analytics places cookies on your device and processes the resulting information on Google's servers, including servers in the United States. Your IP address is used to estimate the general region you are visiting from and is not stored by Google Analytics.

We use Google Analytics for measurement only. We have not enabled Google Signals or advertising features, so this data is not used to build advertising profiles or to target ads to you across other websites.

Opt-out options. You may refuse cookies through your browser settings. You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting any data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

For questions or comments regarding this policy, or to make a request about your personal information, please contact us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
